Compre undertakes numerous assignments to verify that underwriting, claims, reinsurance, accounting and reporting of transactions are being correctly fulfilled to enable client’s to gain confidence of the cedant’s adherence to good business and operational procedures.

We also undertake pre-commutation audits to provide our clients with a more detailed understanding of the cedant’s claims and report upon related and material issues, thus adding substance to future commutation negotiations.

In conducting audits and inspections we apply our skills and knowledge observing the principles that our aim is to focus on the facts and material issues and report these to our client, concentrate on the substantive matters and the technical aspects of the contract(s).

Our team has dealt with all major classes, both direct and reinsurance, and operate on a worldwide basis, active in the UK, Continental Europe, North America, South Africa and Australasia.

Many of our team have attained the PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification.

Members of the team have French, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian language skills and we have access to individuals with other European language skills where necessary.
