Compre has been operating in the UK market since 1975 and is therefore one of the first service providers to establish a permanent presence in London and provide professional services to London Market companies in run-off and managing solvent schemes of arrangement.

We currently also have offices in Helsinki, Stockholm and Malmo and have created a strong presence and brand reputation in the London, Nordic and Scandinavian regions.

Compre’s core service proposition is to provide solutions to companies in UK and continental Europe who are seeking to exit discontinued lines of business. We can offer sale, portfolio transfer, solvent scheme of arrangement, commutations, reinsurance recoveries and sale of reinsurance receivables. Compre Services (UK) is authorised by the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA) as a general insurance intermediary. It is also authorised by Lloyd's as an “approved run-off company”.

Compre Broker Services is an accredited Lloyd’s Run-Off Broker with it’s own broker number (SOS 999) which allows us to broke business in the Lloyd’s and international company markets and use the London Market networks for both settlement and accounting functions.

Additionally, Compre also provides opportunities for companies to outsource their live and discontinued business operations and, working in close partnership, we can help to reduce the burden of operational cost and management time.

Compre offers a wide range of audit and consulting services including claim reviews, inspections, commutations and coverholder/binder reviews.
