Heikki Saalamo
Heikki is Managing Director of Compre Services (Finland) Ltd, Director of Compre Services (UK) Ltd and is a member of the Compre Services Board.
Heikki obtained his M.Sc. (Econ) at Helsinki School of Economics and Business School in 1986. He started his insurance career in 1989 at ST Insurance Group (Sampo Group) where he held various positions and in 1991 was appointed Claims Manager and made responsible for winding up the businesses in USA and London. Heikki also worked for Patria Reinsurance (Sampo Group) and was responsible for winding up the reinsurance business from Scandinavia, Central Europe and the Far East. When the business was sold to Compre Holdings in 2004 Heikki joined Compre and helped to establish the Helsinki office.
Apart from his native Finnish, Heikki is fluent in English and Swedish and can converse in German.
