Paul Upperton
Paul is Head of the Consulting Services department and is a member of the Services Management Group.
Paul has over 35 years (re)insurance experience, initially spending 15 years with a large London insurance company, followed by over 20 years in the reinsurance consultancy field on the management of portfolios of London market and USA run-off operations.
Paul joined Compre in 1995 as Commutations Manager and now as Consulting Services Manager is responsible for all external client matters including commutations, audits and inspections, due diligence, coverholder and binder reviews, debt recoveries and broker replacement services.
In his professional capacity, Paul has particular experience in operations and client management, finality and exit strategies, the management of schemes of arrangement, commutation negotiations, reinsurance recoveries, claims and technical accounting matters.
