Rhydian Williams - Managing Director - Operations

Rhydian is an experienced insurance/reinsurance professional and qualified accountant with over 22 years experience in the Lloyd’s and Company Run-Off market, providing high-level and high-profile project and market management solutions.  He has extensive knowledge and experience of Solvent and Insolvent Schemes of Arrangement and is widely regarded amongst company reconstruction and run-off specialists.  Previously he was a senior manager at and representative of Equitas - now Resolute Management Services Limited, part of the Berkshire Hathaway group.  As Head of the Pools, Security and Insolvency department at Equitas he participated on over 20 Creditors’ Committees and commuted over $5bn of assets and liabilities, generating a contribution of $600 million to the balance sheet.

Now shareholder and Managing Director – Operations at Compre, he is charged with overseeing the expanding operations of this respected insurance and reinsurance acquirer and service provider. With offices in Helsinki, Stockholm, Malmo, Basel and London Compre aims to expand its European footprint bringing international expertise to local companies using local staff.
